Welcome to another edition of Growth Bites. Today we’re talking about the importance of creating a morning ritual. There’s no right or wrong way to get your day started, but
I’ve found a good balance for putting my mind on a positive track and setting the right tone for the day.
Show Notes:
- My morning ritual starts by waking up at 5:30 or 6:00am even though it’s difficult to do. [1:40]
- By waking up early, I’ve already accomplished something difficult and set the tone for the day. [1:55]
- I set my phone far away so I have to get up out of my bed when its alarm goes off and immediately turn on the lights. [2:03]
- I open up my phone’s meditation app, Calm and go through 10 or 20 minutes to help calm and prepare me for the day. [2:30]
- After my meditation, I prime my day to set up a positive tone with the app Lift to review my habits for the day. [3:20]
- I make sure I’m grateful for something or someone to help give me positive momentum during the day. [3:39]
- Next, I recite my goals and what I’m trying to accomplish I picked up from Think and Grow Rich. [4:09]
- Instead of breakfast, I go straight to the gym and run and lift to further a positive mindset. [4:47]
- Make sure you’re getting enough sleep. I go to bed at 9:30 or 10:00 pm to ensure I get 8 hours of sleep. [5:48]
- Use the app Flux to reduce the white light at night. [6:00]
- Listening to music at the gym can improve your workout. [6:29]
